Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The fruit from this blend was sourced from our premium winemaker’s blocks. The resulting wine shows a brilliant ruby stone color with aromas of dark chocolate truffle, fresh roasted coffee beans, blackberry pie, dense alpine forests, vanilla and freshly cut cherry wood. The palate is full-bodied with gripping tannins that provide the backbone for a lengthy cherry liqueur finish.

Tried the Winemaker’s Bloc and it was everything advertised and more. Wonderful taste - I’m pretty picky about my reds, I like them soft yet full and not harsh on an aftertaste. This wine doesn’t disappoint. It almost wants you to hold it in your mouth so you can savor all that goodness !! And the aroma - equally alluring. Great wine, superb job putting this one together out at Claar Cellars.
